Doris draws from over 30 years experience teaching a multitude of fitness formats including Yoga, Total Barre, Spinning, TRX and Kettlebell. She completed Stott Pilates Essential, Intermediate and Advanced levels of mat and reformer and Essential and Intermediate levels on the cadillac, chair and barrels in 2020. She also went through Yoga training at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis in 2005 and continues to grow through additional training and maintaining her own personal Pilates and Yoga practice.

Many of her clients are recovering from injuries, reconstruction or joint replacement surgeries and the Pilates work is done within the guidelines of the surgeon and complimentary to their physical therapy as appropriate. Whether recovering from an injury or expanding upon good health or working to meet specific goals, you will leave your sessions feeling accomplished from having applied mental focus, precision of movement in all directions and experienced release.

Doris is a joyful person and enjoys sharing a good laugh or hearing about the things that are important to you.

During the day, Doris works as a research coordinator and project manager at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery where she is involved in studies of knee reconstruction and spine surgeries, early detection of hip degeneration and lower limb fracture surgeries.
